Summer Math Assignments

Studies show that children can lose as much as 25% of their school year learning over the summer.  In an effort to prevent the "summer set-back" in learning, FCS requires all students entering the 3rd-12th grades to complete summer math assignments. These assignments are designed to help students continue practicing math concepts learned during the school year and introduce them to concepts to be learned during the upcoming school year. Summer math assignments are completed through Khan Academy, an online learning platform.
